American accented narrator

I didn’t like the narrator’s voice. He has an American accent and didn’t fully hold my attention. There is much wisdom in this book. It feels more modern than it really is.

20th Century philosophical and pragmatic classic

Makes Paterson's very good 12 Rules to Life look like A-level homework. The only drawback is the narration is not by Russell himself. If you find this book boring, start with the chapter on boredom. 🤔🤣🍻

Witty and wise.

wonderful and thoughtful. having Bertrand Russell read with such a strong american ascent was odd but he did a great job. over all, brilliant.
