About this listen

Pack your suitcase for a magical adventure!

At the Strangeworlds Travel Agency, each suitcase transports you to a different world. All you have to do is step inside....

Flick is now a badge-wearing member of the Strangeworlds Travel Agency, so when an urgent summons arrives at Strangeworlds from Pirate Queen Nyfe, she and Strangeworlds Society Guardian Jonathan immediately pack their bags for an adventure to Queen Nyfe's world: the Break, a place of magic and piracy.

Nyfe's world is falling apart. The Break is used to having ships vanish without a trace, but there has been a sudden increase that can't be explained by giant squid or mer-people. The edge of their flat world is coming ever closer to them, and they need to escape before it collapses entirely.

But how do you sail a ship through a suitcase? How do you fit a mer-queen the size of a whale into something small enough to carry in your hand? Will Flick and Jonathan be able to find a way to transport the inhabitants of the Break to another world before theirs disappears forever?

A magical adventure that will take you to whole new worlds, perfect for fans of The Train to Impossible Places and The Polar Bear Explorers' Club.

A suitcase of delight

I really liked this book. The narrator is talented in different accents. I recommend this book to fans of the Silver Arrow and The house at the edge of magic.

Lot happened in this book.

Lot to take in but really enjoy it I would say
13 up as some bits
may up set young
ones.
Enjoy it bit more that
the first book bit more funny things happened
Very sad when
you think the father
had died but
has he died I let you find out if he is still alive or not.
There is more to the girl that you think you find out lot more about her as story goes on.
Can't wait to see
what happens
next hope there be
more story to come.

Exciting, engaging, and very enjoyable adventure

I finished it too quickly because I kept going "just one more chapter"! There is enough reality in this story to feel real and relatable so that the magic feels like it *could* be part of our world, if only we had the knowledge, and the right kind of magnifying glasses and suitcases. I really look forward to the next installment of Flick's adventures.
