Raising awareness of communication nuances
Awesome audiobook on communication skills. It covers the nuances and various aspects of effective communication. I really enjoyed that body language and the importance of nonverbal cues were covered because they are a big part of conveying messages. Improve your relationship. This book will help!
You can’t have a good relationship without effective communication. No matter what your current communication skill level is , this book will help you improve that all important skill and thus allow you to live a more productive rewarding life.
I loved the book. It was factual & action packed. It covered all areas of communication in various setting. Be it personal, social, informal or business, one on one or multitudes, it was covered. It also dealt with the 3 forms of communication, written, verbal and non-verbal.
What was eye opening was the depth and comprehensiveness of the information. It covered topics that I was not expecting, yet very important if you are to master this art. For example chapter 1 outlines 5 different outlooks on life that affect your overall communication style and messaging. If you have a subjective naturalistic outlook on life verses a pessimistic naturalistic outlook, that overall viewpoint will impact and color that person’s communication on all levels. Each chapter was full of ideas , best practices and tips. It was not about being a good sounding orator or providing exercises to change your voice tone, but rather providing the in depth knowledge of how, why and what it takes to become an effective communicator. That means being both an effective sender and recipient of a message while also providing or obtaining the necessary feedback to ensure the message was correctly received.
The importance of becoming an active listener was covered early while the art of obtaining and delivering effective feedback as covered in chapter 8. The feedback process is critical if we are to stop misunderstanding one another. The chapter of reading and interpreting non-verbal body language and its often misalignment with verbal communication was very insightful.
This book is an encyclopedia of information and I felt complied to get the paperback edition to serve as an ongoing reference tool for continued study. If you are serious about improving your relationships. this book should be studied not just read or listened to.
I was pleased that the audio edition also came with a download PDF bonus on 14 step to mastering your emotions. Emotions and communications are intertwined and that PDF was helpful if I am to improve my communication skills.
This book delivered on its title of being a comprehensive guidebook to communication. I highly recommend it.

Amazing read, everyone should have this book!
This book covers a lot about communication skills. Building relationships is important in business and personal life. There are lots of great skills being taught and everyone can benefit from reading or listening to this book. The narrator had a great voice and it was an easy listen. There is so much great information, I learned some new skills!

The effective communication Method
This audiobook explores the key elements of efficient communication as well as the ways in which those components impact human interactions. It dives into the interaction of numerous aspects that influence our communication styles, assisting readers in understanding their own perspective on life and how it impacts their speech through this investigation.
An aspect that I particularly like is how much of an emphasis there is placed on compassion. The importance of having empathy in order to cultivate understanding and cultivate healthy relationships is emphasized throughout the book. In addition to this, it provides the reader with useful insights into written communication, which in turn provides them with the abilities necessary to generate effective written material.

A great resource
As someone who struggles with confidence and communication, this book has been a game-changer! This book covers everything from understanding communication styles to the significance of active listening, it provides practical tips to improve interaction skills.
The section on body language was eye-opening. I am going to use the strategies to be a better
