US-Centric but can be applied anywhere
Anyone reasonable or with some common sense can apply what they hear/read to their own country of residence. I think this was a fantastic book. Thank you Armin and Jennifer!

Very USA centred advice
The book provides plenty of helpful advice for all expectant dads. However, in all technical aspects from finance, health insurance to shopping advice, it is very US centred and of little use for those outside the United States. I enjoyed listening to it in most parts, where the information was relevant to the UK or becoming a dad in general.

Great general information and guidance
A good general guide on what to expect during pregnancy. As a UK based reader, this book is full of US centric information, lots of reference to military Dad's, US medical procedures and options and financial references to US relevant schemes (college funds and 401ks etc) obviously it wasn't written for a UK audience and whilst the information is still relevant overall, you may find 25% of this book you wanna skip through

Some nice advice but a bit America centric
There were some useful facts and tips about the development of the baby and preparation. However, the focus on the medical costs and resources was designed for a US audience. I actually read this just to follow along with my husband and we were also amused at the excessive concern around dealing with crazy pregnant women and how not to offend them. These did not reflect our experience at all. If you communicate well with your partner this should not be an issue.

Disappointing and highly USA-centric
There’s no denying that this book contains some useful information, but overall, I feel let down.
The first circa two hours are spent discussing various methods of conception and pregnancy costs, supplemented with anecdotal stories from the authors life, which I felt were misplaced in an ‘expectant father’ book.
Moreover, I felt there was a sustained subtle undertone of arrogance surrounding the authors ‘model’ pregnancy experience, and how excited and close it made he and his wife, something that perhaps not all couples experience.

US focused but good
Got through it quickly. A lot of plugs for later books. Good content but can get bogged down into the US way of doing things - as a UK citizen those sections were less helpful but important if you are from there.

Good book some information not relevant for UK
Good listen some information for UK listeners not relevant such as insurance. Some really useful information of what to expect and a lot of common sense but still a good listen.

Great general information
I enjoying listening to this audio book and honestly there is a lot to take away from it.
I wish it wasn't that much US centric but I guess it was written for the US market

Good enough
Good enough. It's full of useful information based upon academic research. It's a tad "America-centric" though, focusing a lot on medical costs (as a Spaniard, I don't know what that is) or "dads on military deployment".
