Summary

Enjoyable listening.
Easy listening with good characters. I really liked the quotes at the beginning of the chapters. I found myself constantly extending the listening time as I was enjoying the story.

14 hours listening that would have been ideally condensed into 7
The story was a decent one, but oh my, did it drag on. I remember looking at the time counter on my Audible, with still 3 hours left. It was far too long and meandering with too much unnecessary detail. I wanted to box Mariah's ears in on many occasions. To say she was supposed to be bright, she made some weird choices. Sadly this author isn't to my HR palate. I much prefer a meatier storyline with much more pace.
