Summary
Tension is high at the Royal Institute of Magic, as the directors of each of the departments - Spellswords, Wardens, Traders, Scholars and Diplomats - work together with their allies to push back the dark elf invasion, led by King Suktar.
But Ben Greenwood knows the truth: the only real way they are going to win is if he and the Guardians do the unthinkable and infiltrate the heart of the dark elf homeland - ending the evil king’s rule once and for all.

Conclusion to an amazing story!
We loved it!! The 6th book of the Royal Institute of Magic series. Fantastic story telling, the characters are well rounded and the world they live in is completely immersive. Listen to the other 5 books first then listen to this incredible finale. You won't be disappointed!!

Very good story
A wonderful adventure . I recommend strongly this story for all those who enjoy drama and magic . It is very well red for the pleasure of all young adult as well as much older adult

Why are there no more books?
What a bad end! It was to boring but the battles were so good. I liked the book in general however.

Absolutely Amazing!!!. Victor Kloss fabulously written. I loved every book. Peter Kenny is fabulous. I loved all the character voices and accents. I couldn't get into the beginning of book 1, then I adjusted the speed to 0.90× for every book and it was perfect to relax to. Thank you Audible for introducing another 5+star book.
