About this listen
In everything from health care and politics to technology and economics, we are experiencing feelings of loss, anger, and anxiety. In the Enneagram's wisdom, our number determines how we respond. We automatically move to another number when we're feeling stress and to yet another when we're feeling secure. Such moves may help us feel better temporarily but don't last.
For those who want to dive deeper into Enneagram wisdom, expert teacher Suzanne Stabile opens the concept of three Centers of Intelligence: thinking, feeling, and doing. When we learn to manage these centers, each for its intended purpose, we open a path to reducing fear, improving relationships, growing spiritually, and finding wholeness. Drawing on the dynamic stability of the Enneagram, she explains each number's preferred and repressed Center of Intelligence and its role in helping us move toward internal balance. Using brief focused chapters, this book provides what we need to deal with the constant change and complexity of our world to achieve lasting transformation in our lives.

Anneagram wisdom that might transform how you see yourself and everyone else
Next to Richard Rohr, Suzanne is one of the most enlightening speakers and writers on the anneagram I have heard so far. I especially loved how structured the book is, sorted by primary and repressed centers. I learned a lot about myself and the people around me. Very much recommended!

Time with The Enneagram Godmother
I adore Suzanne Stabile, and her work. I've followed her through The Road Back to You podcast and into her Enneagram Journey podcast. To get to listen to her wisdom, with her comforting voice, is such a treat. Her work exudes love, compassion, and acceptance; something this 4 values very much.
There is literally something for everyone in this book, it is well worth your time.

Practical and kind
I loved how at the end of each chapter the author gave clear and accessible steps to implementing what she’d just talked about. Because the enneagram so often highlights weakness and this book goes deeper into how each type reacts in stress it could have been disheartening but because of research and wisdom the author was able to deliver hard truth with kindness and provided hope. The final chapter on willingness to sacrifice in order to grow was so helpful! I very much enjoyed this book and I’m glad it it part of my library so I can go back and read it again.
