Summary

She’s the most wanted woman in four nations.

Caught between the four new nations of a divided America, Chloe Phantom has found some semblance of peace in the deep earthscrapers of LA, but she’s never been able to settle for long. Living up to a promise she made, she remains hidden and on the run.

She’s different, but doesn’t know how or why; her father took his secrets to the grave. The nanotech he put in her body helps to protect her, but is also the reason she’s hunted by the same people who killed him.

Some of her hunters...are they even human? Is she?

Chloe needs to discover the truth of her past, but when her identity is exposed, and her enemies discover where she is, she finds herself propelled onto a breakneck chase between hunter...and hunted.

Who can she trust? Who can she turn to?

Is saving the life of one innocent worth the fate of many?

The Last Phantom is book one of four in The Phantom Chronicles series, a thrilling sci-fi dystopia that’s filled with civil strife, war, magical science, a touch of romance, and a host of weird and adventurous characters.

Excellent

I really liked this fantasy world the author created. It is very well written with strong characters, lots of action, intrigue and had a nice spin on how the main character is hunted and whom by. The narrator did a great job at bringing the various different personalities to life. There weren't any issues with the male narrator playing both male and female character's.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and also horror fans as there are elements of horror intertwined within the book, with a different modern take on bloodthirsty vampires.

I was given this book for free of my own choosing and have voluntarily left this review.
