Summary
A new short novella from the Sunday Times best-selling author of My One True North.
Lara Cliffe and her three friends are off on a mini break for her hen party. It’s three weeks before her wedding to ’Steady Freddie’, one of the kindest men on the planet. But something is worrying Lara. Her friends say it’s wedding jitters, but she isn’t so sure.
Fifteen years ago the love of her life, Danny Belfont, walked out on her three weeks before their wedding and she has never been able to fully get him out of her heart. Then, on the overnight ferry, Lara finds out that Danny is playing in the onboard band and he spots her in the crowd. Will she meet him the next night to talk?
As the wonderful city of Amsterdam works its magic on Lara, she tries to sort out her thoughts. And if fate has brought Lara and Danny back together...is it really for love or for something quite different?

Fabulous
The Little Dreams of Lara Cliffe is another fabulous book by Milly Johnson. It may be short but Milly sure knows how to pack a story that's full of warmth and emotion into a short book. I love the ebook and i love the audio. I'm so glad i've got them both as i'll definitely be re-reading it in the future!!

Milly Johnson little taster
I really enjoyed the story, short and sweet, I have listened to all her books and they feel like a friend, that has all the worries of life, yet enjoys life to the max in experiences, superb writing and with plenty of humour too!! 😍

Not her usual work!
I did not enjoy this taster at all not worth one credit. I’ve enjoyed a few of her stories but this was predictable and hard to listen to.

Disappointing
I have loved all of Milly’s books except this one. Not much of a story kept waiting for it to get interesting but it never did. I’d go so far as to say it was boring, I’m so disappointed, I hope this is a blip and the next one will be back to her usual excellent storytelling.

Story line?
I know it’s only a short story but there didn’t seem to be anything exciting/interesting happen. The girls went to bed early & to museums & their conversations seemed repeated. Not my fave Milly J book by a long shot.

Short story
So disappointed as I hadn’t realised it was only a short book and wouldn’t have wasted my monthly credit. Very unhappy

Not the usual standard
Very full book and not the usual standard of the author. It just seemed to end. No great ending or in fact no great middle or anything. Very disappointed and a waste of a credit.

Don't waste a Credit
I usually love Milly Johnson books but this was just disappointing. It's short yes but the story goes no where. It was just so boring and a waste of time. Literally nothing happened.

Sorry Milly.....sadly I was disappointed
I'm a great Milly Johnson fan and especially love The Birds and the Bees, followed up by Spring Affair. I am sorry to say this book had no body to it.
