Summary

Getting better and more exciting
An improvement over the last book as is easier to follow, spreading into the father universe has helped refresh the books too. A good battle sequence towards the end, if finished and all tidied up quicker than I'd have preferred, but otherwise listenable all the way through. Not as much god bothering in this book as before, although still a bit xenophobic in regards families towards the end. Women are still no more than two dimensional sexual beings, but that seems to be a theme to all of these books.

Fresh storyline but getting a bit too religious
The earlier books with the toned down spirituality where quite good, then the villain got a bit too samey so it’s nice to have some fresh blood there but there’s a real danger it’ll get too religiousy

Exciting Story
I do enjoy these stories. I find the religious parts meaningful as well. Small point on story: How did the terrapin manage to leave when it had low power?
