Not what I had hoped for
The stories were very predictable and placid, I didn’t enjoy the narration when it came to the male voices, especially for the 4th book, it was like listening to a croaky old man instead of a hunk.

Captivating, Enticing and Addictive
I loved this box set.
All the stories were remarkably interesting, believable with enough action to keep you enthralled. Beautifully written and the narration was exceptional.
I had great difficulty in putting it down, I just wanted to continue through the whole lot, without stopping. I love sets that have the perfect amount of action, realistic story lines and show feisty, brave, sensitive and cool women.
Excellent read all in all. So look forward to more like this.

Not worth the credits
I have just managed to get through the first book, cringing every time the narrator was reading the male roles. The narrator’s voice is great and the reading style is spot on for female parts and this is what I’d suggest her to strive in.
This followed by the teenage style of writing made it painful to go any further beyond book 1. The dialogs give the feeling of young teenagers trying to pretend grown ups and far far away from anything mafia related.
Saying that, the idea of the book 1 was good, but it’s like an initial draft would be written, a skeleton for the book to be. Lots and lots to improve. It might be worth checking out Natasha Knight’s books for the ideas on how to give a bit of darker shades for those who have blood on their hands, how the steamy parts are laid out.
If the two points (writing quality and male narrator added) were addressed, the book 1 would’ve been worth a read.
Now - can I get my credit back as I wasn’t after a teen’s book?
