I really enjoy the narration.
Great collection of stories. Love the narration. I found the Jekyll and Hyde story a bit unsettling; I don't think SH and Watson would ever be tempted to the dark side!

Good variety of stories expanding on the canon respectfully.
Great variety including a Lovecraftian story which I know the author does well having read several novels of his in this style.
Narrator does well with RP accents but some of his regional accents are like a punch in the guts! And some of the odd pronunciations are jarring.

Brilliant...
...just brilliant. Particularly the last story which hit me right in the feels! I highly recommend all of James Lovegrove's Holmes novels, all of which are the equal of the genuine article.

mostly good
I enjoyed listening to most of these stories. Some were very good. When you imagine the story in your mind as you listen generally means you're engrossed and enjoying, which was the case here with this collection.

Very Holmes
These are great stories you feel like Conan Doyle himself could have written most of them. I’m not sure I liked the idea of a bad Holmes! I enjoyed listening to them. The narration is very good. You really feel he is Holmes.

Not enough warning
These are NOT classic Sherlock Holmes stories, but weird mash-ups with other genres and the freakiest sci-fi out there. I can't begin to stress the importance of pointing that out. On the cover, please!
So if you're not into sci-fi and are looking for classic tales of Holmes, please keep looking! I only wish I'd stopped listening sooner
