About this listen
Sonny Lowe once traveled the world captaining a successful research vessel. These days, he and his crew get by with fishing and occasionally smuggling in the North Sea. One day, they’re chartered by a mysterious marine biologist to investigate rumors of a rediscovered prehistoric fish in the wilds of the Norwegian Sea.
After a violent thunderstorm, they find themselves trapped in an icy cove lost to time. Hidden in the cove’s ancient depths is a bloodthirsty megalodon. A monster of endless hunger, it soon develops a taste for human blood.
To get his crew out alive, Sonny will have to defeat his demons and fight like hell against a ferocious predator long thought extinct.

Quick shark story
An ok short story about a adventure on the sea, would have benefited in being a lot longer and fleshed out, especially with the characters. it felt a bit rushed and before you know it, it was over. The audio quality was annoying at time, every time the narrator said s it seemed to really stick out, felt that could have been tweaked afterwards. There was also a point where someone shouted and as it was meant to echo it sounded absolutely horrible, nearly turned off there.
Overall a nice story but needed to be longer and have better audio production.

Short shark story - kept me entertained
I liked this, it was short - so perhaps could have been longer. The narration really worked and the story was entertaining overall worth my time and I would look out for more by this author and narrator - perhaps longer so that there is more indepth character development.

everything feels rushed
there isn't much plot being rolled out and pretty much 0 character development. the protagonists' reactions on dramatic/traumatic events are one-dimensional and make it impossible to sympathize with anything or anybody. the performance feels equally rushed, the narrator probably wanted to get it over with. the staccato-like reading and the randomly placed intonations and inflections show some talent, which however wasn't used for this project. the narrator certainly has a good voice but this book is easily one of the worst I ever listened to. I hate criticizing anybody's labour of love, especially since I have not written a book myself. but I cannot detect much love here so... what I like about it is the subtle use of sound effects - some of the sound effects are OK, some are so-so.

Good book
The narrator saved the day he brings the characters alive and has a great voice for audiobooks, The story wasn't that bad but I've heard bad books and this wasn't a bad book, Still enjoyable and worth a listen. can't wait to hear more from the narrator as I'm used to rc bray and Ray porter. The odd sound effects are great, hope the author gets more books out there. Thank you
