Stormin’ Norman’s his name, and when this storm is erupting, he’s like a force-nine gale fused with a hurricane. In his heyday, Norman saw off a plethora of gangland minders and with his own style of hands-on education taught Glasgow’s prolific hit man, Billy McPhee, the laws of the Guv’nor’s land.
He’s the Godfather of Aylesbury, former British Bare-Knuckle Champion, and undefeated European Boxing Federation ‘Guv’nor’. The loveable lunatic with the heart of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Yes, this, my accidental friends, is the new Guv’nor. He is the man who rebuked many a heathen but was also everyone’s friend, and for all the right reasons. The new guvnor not as good as the old guvnor
It's ok and the guy is clearly a legit hardcase and has lived the life.
The book is ok but falls short of lenny mclean's guvnor book
There are better books out there and in fairness there are worse

Fantastic
first time I see buckland was fighting on unlicensed boxing for Guv belt and just thought he was a wannabe gangster ... he speaks so well and polite you would never think he was aggressive out the ring ..so glad I got this book coz I know now buckland was not a man to get on wrong side of ..loved it 👍👍

smashing and gripping from start to finish
highly recommend this book its gripping and mind blowing but yet hard as nails also soft as Teddy you learn the real side to norman the guvnor buckland

My kind of book absolutely loved it, the gentleman had a very tough trot but through it all he had a heart of gold and to boot an animal lover too.

Absolute drivel
By far the absolute worst I’ve listened to ever.
Chapter after chapter of the idiot bigging himself up. Couldn’t get past chapter 10.
And as for narration…think very poorly acted hardman and add the word “cunt” ever second sentence.
Complete and utter rubbish.
