About this listen
Klutzy nurse meets cantankerous billionaire. Add one meddling matchmaker, and voilà—a romantic comedy of epidemic proportions!
Melanie Jenkins, newly single and desperate for change, swaps her ER scrubs for a stethoscope and a one-way ticket to Crazy Town. Her destination? The mansion of Rhonda Miltmore—hypochondriac extraordinaire and self-appointed Cupid.
Enter Brent Miltmore: Wall Street titan with an emotional portfolio in dire need of diversification. When he takes a tumble (literally), guess who becomes his reluctant caretaker? Yep, his childhood nemesis.
With a bum knee and a bruised ego, Brent's determined to give Melanie a taste of her own medicine. But Melanie's got a prescription for payback that'll make his head spin.
Can this adorkable nurse mend the heart of a bossy grump? Will Brent learn there's more to life than stock options? Or will Rhonda's meddling send them all to the ER of broken hearts?
Get ready for "The Art of War" meets "Pride and Prejudice," with a healthy dose of "Grey's Anatomy." This romance is just what the doctor ordered—STAT!

A Fun and Feel-Good Escape
This audiobook was exactly what I needed to brighten my week! The storyline had me hooked from the start with its quirky humor and unexpected twists. The banter between the leads was pure gold—sharp, funny, and just a little bit snarky. I loved how the characters grew on each other (and on me), especially when their differences turned into hilarious and heartwarming moments. Listening to this felt like watching a favorite romcom unfold, complete with laugh-out-loud meddling from side characters. It’s lighthearted but still full of heart, perfect for winding down after a busy day. If you’re looking for something entertaining that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this is such a fun pick!

Hillarious, heartwarming, and so much fun!
This audiobook had me laughing from the start. Melanie, the adorably clumsy nurse, and Brent, the grumpy billionaire, have the kind of sharp, funny banter that keeps you hooked. I loved how their relationship evolved—it’s equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, with just enough awkward encounters to keep things interesting. Rhonda, the meddling matchmaker, stole every scene she was in and added just the right amount of chaos to the mix. It’s light, full of charm, and perfect if you need a feel-good story with lovable characters and a touch of revenge. Definitely looking forward to the next in the series!

Great Sunday Afternoon Enjoyment
A new take on the 'Taming of the Shrew" - very enjoyable - I listened all afternoon with a cup of tea and had the greatest laughs....the ideas the heroine comes up with - oh my.... an excellent rom-com to lighten the day and relax, a crazy mother and a good-hearted nurse - and the day is saved. I can recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy a light-hearted read - have a clean laugh and relax into a nice story.
