Great apocalyptic drama - different
So I had read this book before but wanted to listen to it, I did really enjoy the written version but the audible version brought it to life and made it even better. Yes the plot is out there, but it is a different take on the whole genre and like to mix it up. I especially liked the authors note at the end where he explained his thought process.

Great book

Absolutely loved it!
A brilliant story. It felt different that the norm and the characters felt real and alive. The right mix of likeable and not but done so so well and you really hope for their survival. Will definitely be looking out for this author in the future

Loved this book, I read lots of post apocalyptic books and this was one of the best, sorry when it ended.

Fast paced thriller, well worth your time
This is a great listen as long as you are happy to suspend disbelief, especially during the latter half when the constant plot twists strain credulity. It’s a hell of a story though - the characters are well drawn (the women slightly less so as occasionally drift into angel/shrew/saint stereotypes) and the fast paced, exciting storyline makes it hard to put down. It’s a fresh take on apocalypse lit. and I look forward to the next in the series. Well done to the author on such a successful first book - it was clearly a labour of love.

Very enjoyable story!
Loved so much about this book, interesting and engaging story with some excellent characters. The narrator did a great job. Would love a sequel as I feel there is so much potential for this story to expand and a new world to explore and develop. Keep up the good work! Look forward to enjoying more of your writing in the future.

Characters were great, story is great….
I loved this book. A twist on the usual apocalyptic stories which I love. I was really disappointed when the book ended…. Sounds like Todd has a book 2 up his sleeve! So please get a move on Todd….. I cannot wait to read it
