About this listen
The end of the world usually signals the end of life. But for convicted murderer Frank Lee, it was only the beginning. With his newfound freedom, Frank suddenly has the world at his feet. The only downside: all the damn cannibals!
Amy was working in Sunnymoor Hospital when the virus struck. With her patients craving flesh, the only person she can save is herself. But as more of the townsfolk fall victim to the wave of infection, Amy’s chances of survival quickly begin to diminish.
With reluctant alliances, betrayal, and an unrelenting fight for survival, The Virus is an action-packed journey into the depths of human depravity.

Virus
This is a superb start to a new series from Damien Lee. It is the first book I've listened to of his but hopefully not the last. A prison full of corruption. a hospital full of a mysterious virus leads to the need to escape for the main characters in this edge of the seat listen. From vastly different backgrounds they meet up and have to work together to escape the Zombies. the talented Simon Aitchison with his multi voiced narration does a wonderful job of keeping the listener hooked. Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator/author and leave this honest review.

Zombie fan? Then this is for you!
This was my first book by Damien Lee and it definitely won't be the last.
When a virus hits the UK it's not long before the country descends into chaos. People start dropping like flies, but they don't stay down for long and that's when all hell breaks loose. Forced together by fate, a band of survivors must work as a team in order to escape the undead. Easier said than done when one of them is a convicted murderer with a short fuse.
This book has everything you could want in a zombie novel. High stakes, action and gore aplenty. The narration is brilliant and pulls you into the story completely. If you're a fan of The Night Of The Living Dead franchise, you won't want to miss out on The Virus.

Great British Zompoc.
You'll love this Zompoc series by Damie Lee. Full of zombie action, interesting characters and great storyline, can't wait for book 2 to come out. Narration is brilliant and you can define each character through the voice acting of the narrator. Look Damien Lee up on Facebook. He loves to chat with his fans.

The infected are here!
This book not only brings the dead alive, it also takes the most innocent of creatures to feast's upon your soul. Damien Lee has sculptured a horrifying new world, that has good and evil working together to survive.
The story had me gripped from the first sentence, and when you add the talented narrator Simon Aitchison, it brings the world alive. Roll on the sequel.
