About this listen
"All the horror of The Walking Dead infused with classic English wit and sarcasm, two gore encrusted thumbs up" (Mark Tufo author of the Zombie Fallout series)
"The stories in The Queuing Dead are perfect for fans of both horror and zombie fiction. All the stories show the horror of people trapped in a zombie apocalypse. There are many characters whom the reader will cheer on when they survive or feel sadness when they don’t. In other stories, there are characters who are sociopaths, placing them clearly in the Horror genre even before that moment when the zombie hordes arrive. The Queuing Dead is a fascinating collection of short stories that provide different scenarios of what might happen if the zombie apocalypse broke out in the UK." (Marilyn Peake, USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author)

Really good listen
Surprisingly one of the better zombie books I've heard. Nice that some stories are funny or sad or both. Narrator brilliant too.

Zzzzzzzz....
Oh dear. I have about 200 books in my library; some brilliant, some not so brilliant, some complete rubbish, and then there is this one. This one is the first book I have decided not to finish (and mind you, I have listened through all 'complete rubbish' books in my library). Why? Well, the stories are so uninteresting, it feels like nothing really happens, and I find myself going "Wait, what?" when I notice a new chapter starts. There is no humour, no gore, no action. There is drama, but if drama had different levels, this would be the zzzzzzzz-kind.
I enjoyed the narrators voice. But it is not his fault that if I suffered from insomnia, these stories and his soothing voice would definitely cure it.

Boring
Overly long boring short stories, narrated by people on the verge of sleep. Avoid.
