You are cordially invited to the wedding of the year....
Sophie Breeze is a brilliant bridesmaid. So brilliant, in fact, that she's made it her full-time job.
As a professional bridesmaid, Sophie is hired by brides to be their right-hand woman, posing as a friend but working behind the scenes to ensure their big day goes off without a hitch. From wrangling rowdy hen dos to navigating last minute portaloo cancellations and family dramas, there's no problem she can't solve.
So when she's hired by an actual marchioness to help plan the society wedding of the year, it should be a chance for Sophie to prove just how talented she is.
Of course, it's not ideal that the bride, Cordelia Swann, is an absolute diva and determined to make Sophie's life a nightmare. It's also a bit inconvenient that Sophie finds herself drawn to Cordelia's posh older brother, who is absolutely off limits. And when a rival society wedding is announced, things start to get rather complicated....
Can Sophie pull off the biggest challenge of her career, win over a reluctant bride and catch the eye of handsome Lord Swann - all while keeping her true identity a secret, and her dignity intact?

Great
Really enjoyed this book,
The narrator brought the characters to life really well.
Though the main character I wanted to throttle at times… but when you listen to the book you’ll understand why!!!

Loved it!!
Absolutely loved this book! Just what I needed .. funny, light hearted, romantic & very well written.
Narrator was fabulous too!
I was actually laughing out loud whilst walking my dog listening to this book.
Absolutely recommend x

Very enjoyable and a fabulous narrator!
I really needed a book which wasn't heavy and I could listen to without having to follow plots or map out characters. I started it on a drive and listened at several intervals thereafter walking to/from work.
Firstly, I must say the narrator was brilliant. She had an easy voice and tone to listen to, had consistent accents for the various characters and most importantly she was clear and her enunciation was perfect. I would listen to any book narrated by Nathalie (sadly there don't seem to be many !)
I really enjoyed the story, there were some fabulous laugh out loud moments. Whilst it becomes fairly obvious where the book is heading, the journey there is most enjoyable. Sophie is a champion and someone you'd love to be your mate. I was routing for her the whole way through.
Definitely not a wasted credit in my opinion. Give it a go, it's worth it !

Lighthearted Fun
Loved it but has some of the usual tropes involved in Romcoms However this was more about friendship and I found that quite refreshing.
The narrator did an amazing job and really sold the characters and story.
All in all, an enjoyable lighthearted sometimes funny book and worthwhile in my opinion. However I am biased as I prefer the light novels over those that are too in depth and serious.

Couldn't stop laughing...
One of the funniest books I've read in recent times. Well written, and impeccably narrated. After the first chapters, I started to look forward to the extracts of weird exchanges that conclude each chapter. Having worked in customer service in the past, I actually saw myself in Sophie's place more than once. Fully recommended

Enjoyed the story but not all the language
A good read or listen, though with some expletives which could have been excluded or toned down. Story flowed well, predictable ending but enjoyable nonetheless.
