Didn’t finish
Really struggled to listen to this and not sure why. The narrator had a lovely voice but initially it felt stilted although she sped up and narration flowed later on but think my brain just switched off so I didn’t get more than a few pages in.

Full workbook PDF is not included
Couldn’t work along with the book due to the workbook not being included, PDF only includes some pages.
Narrator has a beautifully soothing voice though and there’s some helpful information.

Enjoyed this book
This was a nice easy book to listen to and gave several resources.
I always listen on 1.4 speed and found this made the book more acceptable for listening.

Powerful solutions,not really, basic solutions
There is some basic advice in this book with the PDF that still has missing parts.
If you're starting out then yes it would be an okay 1st book. But there are other resources online that have CBT/DBT worksheets ,emotion wheels for "naming to tame" emotions and things like "tapping" (EFT or Neuromastery / Clarity process experience ), somatic experiencing, havening ,"the basic exercise" & the Sedona method for processing emotions when the basics of this book may fail you because your life is more complex. (affirmations tend not to work when it feels like you're lying to yourself, there's research on it backfiring & talking about one's issues doesn't help everyone especially if there's trauma involved)
She does give the odd example which may/may not be too long winded to be practical at times.
Would not recommend this book to anyone with a (life limiting) health condition or if they feel fatigue, mainly because doing all the steps isn't going to be possible and sustainable. Better advice would be : find something that is healthy for you that you find fun and try to maintain it,when that's become a routine , move on to small steps towards another healthful activity (preferably with others for social accountability) and see if you can get a balance between the two, keep going at a pace that suits you until you have covered the main categories social,diet,emotional,physical... try to go outside your comfort zone to find new things that you enjoy.
Glad it was free, was more basic than the title let on.Narration didn't help make it any better.

Terrible narrator
It's a terrible narrator, it sounds like a child is reading this book. It was really hard to get through the book and focus on the content even though the content in itself probably is fairly good.
