Summary

"Present day conditions," writes Pink, "call loudly for a new examination and new presentation of God's omnipotence, God's sufficiency, God's sovereignty. From every pulpit in the land it needs to be thundered forth that God still lives, that God still observes, that God still reigns. Faith is now in the crucible, it is being tested by fire, and there is no fixed and sufficient resting place for the heart and mind but in the Throne of God. What is needed now, as never before, is a full, positive, constructive setting forth of the Godhood of God."

legend! and excellently reading

just perfect. So majestic and God glorifying. will return again to this D.V. This is pure biblically soaked, well explained Calvinism. Not the caricatured rubbish bandied about on some YouTube channels for and against the doctrines of grace! what a treasure and what a suitable reader!

Remarkable

Beautifully read. This book surpassed expectations by the extent that it increased my understanding of the sovereignty of Almighty God. The author artfully tackles the difficulties in comprehending that God is sovereign even when bad things happen. This book can potentially change the way you view your life (in terms of who is in charge) as well as the way you view the world.

Clear explanations from Scripture. Very helpful.

So clear. Very helpful. Such powerful truths explained from Scripture in a way that is easy to understand. Although written over a century ago his comments on the church and the world often sound remarkably current. The language and style is of its era but I rather enjoyed that. Read very well. It felt like the author was speaking to me and there was nothing to distract from the meaning.
