Summary
In the course of their investigation into Leonardo da Vinci, Lynn Pickett and Clive Prince found clues about his strangely passionate belief in the importance of John the Baptist.
Here, along with a reassessment of the significance of Mary Magdalene and the sacred feminine, the authors reveal that Da Vinci’s apparently peculiar religion was shared by the Knights Templar. And their profoundly heretical belief that the Baptist was superior to Jesus himself still has the power to pose a threat to the very foundations of the Christian Church....

Overlong and repetitive
If I had wanted to listen to Martin Jarvis narrating the Just William stories I’d have bought them instead of this.
The delivery is fairly grim and the narrator continuously tries to convey various points through his diction. Sadly this doesn’t work, hence the Martin Jarvis reference above.
This book is overlong and repeats itself in several places. It could easily have been slimmed down to under half of its length and still have made sense, sadly that wasn’t to be.
The story rambles and lacks any real form of sequential coherence. There are many other better books on this subject out there, you should try on of them instead of this.

it's a book
Certainly a well-researched book, with a lot of thought-provoking evidence. Certainly, one to read if you are interested in the Templars and a good background read to accompany the Da Vinci Code...

I'll definitely need to listen to this again
I really liked this book and there was an awful lot of information getting thrown at me and that's why it lost a star, it became a rapid fire of information and there were a few times were I got a little lost. But overall, a very informative book.

Absolutely Fantastic Listening
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. There was definitely a lot of information being thrown at the listener and at times you didn't seem to get time to digest one point before another was being made. The authors did however back up all their claims and theories with sound reasoning and despite this book being somewhat in the 'conspiracy theory' realms it was refreshing to see them discount many theories due to lack of evidence. I definitely would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in looking deeper into what really (may really have) happened 2000 years ago in the middle east.

Phenomenal on every level
The most thought provoking, inspiring and engaging book I’ve read on Templar and surrounding theories. Paired with gorgeous tones and performance of the narrator David Timson and this book is spectacular. Couldn’t put it down.
Never liked multi-cast audio books until this one
Fantastic choice of voices and great performances from the narrators. Utterly captivating and a beautiful listen.

Jesus Christ Is The True Messiah
Fascinating (albeit blasphemous) alternative account of the lives of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist and Mary Magdalene. This book puts the case of the early heretics. There are also links with Egypt, The Crusaders, Mandeans, Priory of Sion and Freemasons. However, there is far too much conjecture and it does not change my belief that Christ is the Messiah and the original account in the Holy Bible is the true one. The writers have imaginations that run away with themselves. I'm a Catholic and this is not a book for Christians. I will be doing Christians a favour by warning them not to read this book. Although, I am giving this book 5 stars I do not recommend it and don't read it.
