"Soul meets soul on lover's lips"
Another great Cordell Logan story from David Freed. This time the smart talking, fast action owner of the Ruptured Duck leaves his 'plane behind him to look into the killing of a sadistic Vietnamese ex prison camp guard as he attempts to rescue two Americans likely to be accused of the murder. But never fear, his big hearted landlady and Kiddyot, the disdainful cat, also make delightful appearances.
All is superbly voiced by the excellent Roy Porter.

Great hero, superb reading
What did you like best about this story?
I love the character Cordell Logan, he's one of the best heroes I've ever read/heard, funny, self-deprecating, witty, wise and wry. The landlady and the cat and the Duck are all brilliant flashes of colour in the story.
What about Ray Porter’s performance did you like?
Whoever chose Ray Porter to narrate David Freed's books was inspired, he IS Cordell Logan. He brings such humour and reality to the words that I have a hard time stopping listening. The plot was good, but really, I just want to hear more about the character as portrayed by Porter.
Any additional comments?
The plot was fine although on that front I've enjoyed other of Freed's books more, and I missed the Ruptured Duck from a lot of the book, but really, I love this series very much and can't wait for the next one.

Story moves along Ray Porter Narrates.
Ray Porter Narrates so nothing else to say. Just excellent. Story moves along with some nice twists and turns. Part of series so you get a lot of character development.

Thoroughly entertaining
Witty, tense, sheer entertainment and one of my favourite narrators especially for easy, non taxing, listening. Which is sometimes all you want.

I like Logan
The narrator did such a great job that it’s impossible to dislike the MC, however plot was weak and didn’t make sense
