Mention creativity, and what comes to mind? For many of us, creativity is the province of someone with a singular gift toiling away in service to their art. From this perspective, creativity is a solitary endeavor - the struggle of the individual to express their distinctive vision to the world. But what if we looked at creativity through a wider lens, as a dynamic force that animates us and connects us with every being on the planet? From this perspective, creativity is not just a spark igniting the fire of inspiration.

In the late 1990s, shortly after arriving in the United States, it became clear to Dza Kilung Rinpoche that his Western students were unable to progress in meditation, as well as his students had back in Asia - and he realized that was because the pace of Western life made it difficult for them to relax. The Relaxed Mind contains instructions for the seven-phase meditation practice Dza Kilung Rinpoche developed for Westerners. It's very traditional but adapted to help those of us who live in a culture of distraction.

Practical

Summary
It is said that the practice of dream yoga deepens our awareness during all our experience: the dreams of the night; the dream-like experience of the day; and the bardo experiences after death. Indeed, the practice of dream yoga is a powerful tool of awakening, used for hundreds of years by the great masters of the Tibetan traditions.
Unlike in the Western psychological approach to dreams, the ultimate goal of Tibetan dream yoga is the recognition of the nature of mind or enlightenment itself. "If we cannot carry our practice into sleep," Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche states, "if we lose ourselves every night, what chance do we have to be aware when death comes? Look to your experience in dreams to know how you will fare in death. Look to your experience of sleep to discover whether or not you are truly awake."
About the author: Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is a lama in the Bön tradition of Tibet. He is the founder and director of Ligmincha International, an organization dedicated to the study and practice of the teachings of the Bön tradition. He was born in Amritsar, India, after his parents fled the Chinese invasion of Tibet and received training from both Buddhist and Bön teachers, attaining the degree of Geshe, the highest academic degree of traditional Tibetan culture. He has been in the United States since 1991 and has taught widely in Europe, North and South America, and Asia.

Reveals a whole other world of mastering dreams
A brilliant listen for anyone who's on a spiritual journey or going down a rabbit hole searching for different cultural viewpoints in understanding the nature of reality. Or who has curiosity with dreams in general. Some great pointers and teachings included (some definitely need to come at a slow pace of practice and understanding and even have a teacher *which is mentioned*) it will require another listen for me.
Myself personally, I have had some unbelievable lucid dreams before this and usually only read about the thrill seeking part as opposed to their being a path to mastering and understanding how it's all linked in different waking states. I still know nothing, but that's ok. I recommend this!

A Welcome Practice to Dream
You will never dream the same again! This book enlightens your mind and heightens your experience of the temporal sphere of light (the source / nothingness) - which we experience in the next layer of our perception. As we move along our journey from birth to death, the practices of mindful meditation may help us to see that which is right in front of us. The non-duality of the source.

Good Book, Bad Narrator
For some reason, the audio book narrator took several liberties in editing the author's specific directions for men and women. She even omitted entire paragraphs. I wonder whether any author would approve of an audio book narrator's edits like this. I also question Audible's quality control personnel. How did they let this reading slip through the cracks? I would not buy another audio book narrated by Marcy Vaughn.

Excellent book on using sleep to meditate
A clear and lucid dissertation of active dreaming, controlling your dreams and using your sleeping phase of your life to center yourself. Practices that are well known today and practiced by sleep specialists like myself. Yet this book shows how old these techniques are and how many people have used this form of meditation to help them grow old without the pain, fear and anger that makes old age so difficult. A wonderful book that you will learn much from.

Excellent guidance
The content provides excellent, authoritative, easy to follow guidance for actual practice and accomplishment of an authentic path of spiritual awakening. The narration is pleasant, and calming, and her pronunciation of Sanskrit terms is very good. I will continue listening to this many times to reinforce this excellent teaching. As for there being gaps in the dialogue, I only noticed this once or twice. It is very minimal. Overall it is very pleasant to listen to, and very applicable to dream yoga and spiritual practice in general.
