Summary

Pursued by the cultists of the Cleansing Flame, Talin and his beautiful companions must flee the City of Masks and find refuge in the Grand and Enlightened Empire of Zim. If the rumors are to be believed, then the sorceress with whom he had fled a dying world might also be waiting for him somewhere among the endless grasslands and obsidian-sheathed peaks of the Twilight Empire. But there is great danger lurking in Zim - a half-mad demigod and the demonic Shriven also seek Talin and the key he carries that can open pathways between the worlds....

Warning: The story contains a harem and is suitable only for mature listeners.

World Hopping

Damn, I'm really loving this series, it's so fast paced and action packed, our poor oul protagonist Talin goes through the mill in some parts of the books, the worldbuilding, monsters and characters are absolutely brilliant, in book two Talin has just been captured and is now a sewer rat, after his run in with Valin and falling from a cliff to another world, lost, confused and away from his trusted companions, he spends his time in this book mostly on his own, we meet some new characters and some very unsavoury ones who has made him a slave, Talin is thrusted into the seedy underbelly of the Zim empire, which gives him some good and not so good experiences, Talin has proved himself skilled with a blade, but is his political acumen up to the task? Can he navigate the treacherous waters of Zim alone and friendless, check it out you won't be disappointed, a fun read you will get through in a few hours, the narrator Angelo Di Loreto continues to give a great preformence, with a fantastic plot and setting, if you love new fantasy worlds, I highly recommend...⚔😁

Slower than the 1st

This book was even slower than the first. Sped up with more action ot could be a good series.

I will listen to the 3rd installment, though only if its included with Audible. I wont use a Credit for it.
