Summary

Reeling from the events of the previous night, the team struggle to cope with the shock and pain. How can you win against something you can't bring yourself to fight? Do they use the nuclear option and risk it all?

In the north, Cassie grows bored and pushes Gregori and the Boy on a course of action that will change everything, and the infection evolves into a terrifying opponent, pulling both sides into an ever-darkening game of cat and mouse.

New characters hear the call to arms, and questions are answered. Who was the guy in the armoured van on Day One? Secrets are revealed, but the mystery only deepens.

Mr Haywood just gets better and better.

I may have read the book already, but wow, you need to listen or read it again.
The subtle things I missed the first time around. Boss, I am an addict to the undead series. The writing and story just get better and better with each book.
If your a newbie to the series, please go to the start, you won’t be disappointed. I am hooked on each character, and find myself using certain sayings, only to get very odd looks.
Go find his web or amazon page, this guy can write many different Your

Wow!

This book is an enormous roller coaster. Howie and the group are still reeling from losing Blinky, and to be honest I was as well! So things are off kilter but they fight on and do manage to wrestle back some good humour and fun. The story takes a turn I was not expecting and this in turn creates a whole new set of questions. Cannot wait for Part XIX!

I've changed my opinion of Joe Jameson.

Like many others, I hated the way Joe butchered some characters, especially Paula and Dave. I left a scathing review and couldn't understand how H.H Haywood could be happy with such an awful narration and book 12 wasn't much better. I think he must've taken all the criticism on board because he has drastically improved and he's doing a fine job but H.H Haywood should get him to do books 11 and 12 again because some people will just give up on it and miss out on this great series. The only reason I stuck with it was I used all my credits to buy the lot.

They just get better.

What a tie in this episode was. Crazy story, outrageous characters, unbelievable plots. I loved every minute. These books need to be a TV show. It would blow walking dead out of the water. Keep them coming.

Lame Waste Of Time/Effort

RR Haywood has lost any talent he may have had previously, this book has been simply done to boost profits and not for the ears or eyes of readers. At times the book goes around in circles and has really lost its way. Joe (Narrator) really does his best with the majority of the characters but he falls flat with many sounding the same and it can become VERY confusing.

If an Author could Con the public then this would be the best way for them to do so as the material is not worth what its printed on and I have used better quality paper to wipe my bottom. The word dribble comes to mind as the words are spewed out and not thought out.

One reason I believe the book has lost its way is that RR Haywood had been concentrating on other projects and books and has left this story to die a death.

Things are starting to link up

Looks like we are calling mr Haywood the boss now. I’m going with that because his writing is amazing.

I love how the weaved strands of previous books are now slowly coming together and the back story is starting to fill.

sublime as always and this series gets better and better.

Can’t wait for the next instalment, out of all the books this is the one I enjoyed the most, especially the closing chapters.

Great emerging back story

Can’t get enough of this series and this episode has just added to the enjoyment. Added to which, the narration has improved so much so as to make the whole experience really enjoyable. Roll on the next instalment!

Maybe a little cliche, but excusable

Nicely put together, the time leap is a bit disconcerting unless you pay attention! Great listen!
