Summary
Calliope Thorne is a good girl. A straight-A student, a rule follower, and an aspiring ballerina.
But most of all, she’s a good sister to her four older brothers. Brothers whom she loves and adores to pieces. Brothers who love and adore her to pieces in return.
And who hate just one and one thing only – Reed Jackson.
Rich, arrogant, and the most popular guy at Bardstown High, Reed is Callie’s brothers’ enemy and she has sworn to stay away from him.
Until one night when she wanders into the woods and finds herself in his clutches. A villain with pretty gray eyes and a seductive smirk.
Until he asks her to dance for him with a look in those eyes that makes her forget why falling for her brothers’ enemy is a bad idea.
Note: This is a 39,000-word prequel for A Gorgeous Villain. The story concludes in A Gorgeous Villain.

The heartbreak begins...
Sweet young Callie and a swoony "villainous" Reid begin their angst filled relationship that leads to heartbreak and one sunken sweet ride a Mustang car that is. If you've read SAK before you know she loves causing her female MC's all kinda emotion distress due to the actions of the heroes. This book is no exception. It's sexy and angsty and has you in your feelings. You are brought back to your own youth when love feelings were new and butterflies were fluttering for the first time until they stop and heartbreak swooped in like a winged predator to rip your heart to shreds. Callie and Reed start their romance here and so the heartache begins.
The narration was good and enhanced the story.

The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy
Wow what an epic prequel! I was not ready for that ending! I can't wait to start The Gorgeous Villain immediately. I am hooked. I can tell the next book is going to be a tragically beautiful love sorry that hits you in all the feels. I better gear up for it. Stefanie Kay did an absolutely fantastic job narrating!

Thoughts on The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy
This book was engrossing and absolutely held my attention. It drew me in with these two characters who seem to be so drawn to each other despite Reed, the leading man, being at odds with the leading lady Callie’s brother Ledger. But knowing it’s a prequel novella and knowing it was doomed to end badly it still didn’t prepare me for just how much I would dislike Reed by the end. I felt like he did a lot for and with Callie all to turn around and hurt her the way he does. I feel like some epic groveling will be needed to make up for his actions in the next book because Callie may have been a bit naïve, but what Reed did was just cruel.
I loved the narrator on this one. She conveyed great emotion for Callie and even had a good male tone for Reed.

The wild mustang & the Dancing Fairy
Holy moly was this book So good. Gotta say one of my favorite high schools romance book. Even though she gets her heart ❤ broken 💔 😔 😢, but hey I love how she repaid him back. I was really hoping thing would change for them and they got there happily ever after. But nope 🙅🏻 didn't happen instead he used her for a freaking win and made her look bad in front of her brother's. So not cool but he got his.

Reed and Callie!
Callie has always been sheltered by her four older overprotective brothers and they have also supported her especially when it comes to her love of ballet. She has been crushing on Reed from afar for a while, but he is off-limits for so many reasons including the fact that her brothers despise him and that he is the bad boy that everyone has warned her about.
Reed is one of the star players on the high school soccer team while Callie’s brother Ledger is the other and the rivalry between is extreme. There is so much we don’t know about him from his past, to his motives and his feelings but hopefully all our questions will be answered when their story continues in A Gorgeous Villain.
The narrator portrayed Callie perfectly as she brought out all of the angst and insecurity that she was feeling. 🎧The Flock

Hooked from the Start!!!
This was my very first Saffron Kent book and I went in blind and was totally hooked from the start. The WIld Mustang & the Dancing Fairy is a completely awesome title, can we just start with that? Callie finds herself enamored with Reed, who just so happens to be the rival of her brothers...her four older protective brothers, and that rivalry goes deep. Callie tries to fight it at first, but once Reed turns on the charm, her chances of resisting seems to go down pretty quickly, which starts to cause trouble in her own relationships with her brothers. I so enjoyed the push and pull between Callie and Reed and the sweet moments shared between them as she danced and as Reed showed his softer, more vulnerable side. I absolutely adored how much Callie's brother's loved her and how well they all take care of each other and protect their family, especially given their situation. This book does end with a cliffhanger, but it makes me even more excited to dive into A Gorgeous Villain to get the rest of the story which I know will be equally amazing.
The audiobook for this story was so well done. Stefanie Kay was truly fantastic in the narration of this story as I felt ALL THE EMOTIONS of this story as I was listening. I cannot wait to listen to/read more. I would highly recommend Stefanie Kay as a narrator and look forward to listening to more of her work in the future. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock

Reed & Callie
Good start/ prequel to A Gorgeous Villain book where Callie and Reed will find their HEA, hopefully.
Stefanie Kay as Callie really made me live the story with her. Amazing narrator.

The Fairy and the Villain
My goodness, makes me feel and breaks my heart! This isn't my normal kind of book, but this little novella has me so excited to see the begging, pleading, and walking over shattered glass for Reed to ever make this right!!! Callie is the good girl, and you can't help but instantly love her, and the way she sees the good in the boy all deem a villain!
Stefanie did a great job pouring out Callie’s emotions and innocence! I listened at 1.8 which is fairly fast for me but it sounded the best to me!
