Summary

It’s one thing to read about witches, it’s another thing to discover you are one.

Glasgow law student David Hunter is drifting through life and feels something is missing. When on a night out someone tries to kill him and he discovers he is from a long line of witches known as Dream Dancers, his life is turned upside down.

Now David has unwittingly exposed himself to a world of powerful witches, clandestine government agencies, and a fight to protect the Akashic records.

Is a life filled with magick really his true calling in life?

If you love witches, magick, and conspiracy theories, you’ll love the first book in this fast-paced supernatural thriller series.

This is right up my street. A bit of sci-fi but great to hear local places and streets through the book. Cannot wait on my next credit to hear the next one x

Great concept

Too short for an audio book and you need a reader that can portray characters better

It was ‘spell binding’ without the spells!

I loved this book. Couldn’t stop listening. It had me hooked in the first 5 minutes. Not your normal witches and spells but still intriguing to see what happens to the characters. Even better is it’s set in Scotland. I am even going to buy the physical book so I can again when I have no access to digital format. AAAAAAA+***** No more time left to write anymore in this review it’s on to book 2 now.

Didn’t really catch me

As a concept it’s good, though it didn’t really catch my interest, I love long stories, trilogies, etc. though I couldn’t wait to get to the end of this

Too short but a good intro to what I hope will be a good series.

An introduction to the real story. The main characters have been introduced. There isnt enough to have you hooked or heavily invested and it is narrated at a slow gentle pace. It feels like it needed more action and more to happen overall. That said I probably will listen to book 2 at some point. A full credit for a 4 hour book is questionable! I nearly didnt bother with it at all!
