i liked this story especially Shirley's part I found her part the most interesting.
I was disappointed at the end , that Rachel couldn't forgive Shirley though.

Awful.
The author really needs to take a break, I think. His books are becoming worse with each one. Take a break and come back with something that isn't so basic.

Cringeworthy
I chose this after reading The History of Us, which I quite enjoyed, however I’m not sure why I suffered this book to the bitter end, maybe in the hope it might redeem itself. Badly written nonsense.
