About this listen
Introduced, annotated and edited by Dickens scholar Michael Norris, here we have insightful, vivid, first-person accounts of Charles Dickens by the people who knew him best, including sons Henry Fielding Dickens and Charles Dickens Jr., daughters Mamie and Kate Dickens, colleague and authorized biographer John Forster, and others. Taken together, these writings provide a stunning portrait of Dickens as a living breathing man: friend, father, collaborator and citizen. This outstanding audio edition is beautifully narrated by Britain's Tanya Bartlett.

Interesting Facts
The worst narration I think I've heard in all my audible library. Ordinary words, places names mispronounced to such a degree as to mar the experience.
