I would recommend if you want to hear Jamie-Lynns perspective on her life.
I remember watching Zoey 101 and seeing Jamie-Lynn all over the press when she fell pregnant so young. It was interesting to hear Jamie-Lynns story and her perspective on life as a teen mum with rocky relationships and fame to contend with. You can really hear the emotion in her voice when she discusses her daughters tragic accident. The behind the scenes insight into Zoey 101 was also very interesting. This is not a Britney exposé. I would recommend if you want to hear about Jamie-Lynns life.

Surprisingly Surprised
No matter what you might think of JLS from what the media surrounding Britney Spears has made you believe.
This is her truth and it’s a very good listen. The honestly and pure heart she put in to this book his hard to dispute.

Chapter 3.
A bit Boring but Chapter 3 is the most interesting Chapter. I replay Chapter 3 every week that chapter just connects with me and to me the most interesting.

Honest and reflective
I listened to this book in one go, and it is now clear to me, she is not what she has been made out to be! She is very self-aware, compassionate, brave and reflects on her mistakes first and foremost. She explains herself very well. If only everyone considered their own behaviour and evaluated their own lives before casting blame and judgement on others for doing the best job they know how…well done Jamie Lynn!

10/10 Jamie Lynn's voice is so soothing and calming what a touching biography and a true inspiration and what a beautiful miracle your lovely Maddie survived that horrific accident

Refers to herself as “teen star” continuously
I’m not sure if she was more famous in the US than UK and appreciate she had a TV career but she refers to herself as “teen star” often which is a bit cringe! But she tells her story well.

Completely Narcissistic Account
Jamie Lynn comes across incredibly self-centered and her voice over reading style has an attitude to it at times - again persuading me that this is one very narcissistic story teller. I regret buying this book.

Rename 'Everyone is at fault, except for me'
First let's start with a positive: JL's reading performance was clear and easy to listen to. I appreciated the narative in her own voice, although there was little change to pace or tone.
Now the not so good- or to be honest, the 'so bad it's good' : Of course any autobiography is going to be self absorbed; it is after all meant to be about one key individual. But the underlying message of the book came across as a bratty "hey, stop ignoring me, everyone should care about me now". The sheer lack of self-awareness in the narrative made this book, so bad, it's actually good. I'm not even talking about the Britney thing, let's leave that out, as plenty of other people have spoken about that. But just even how she talks about her daughters, and her mother. JL just comes across as someone who views everyone else's purpose as being there to meet her needs - and if they don't, then 'how dare they'! Comes across as incapable of empathy; only superficial consideration for others (felt more for apperance sake), and an enduring blame game where she happily laps up the faults of others, brushing over her own, to then go on to brag about her 'integrity' and 'authenticity'. It's a shame really. I like to think that JL is actually of better character than this. But this just served to make her appear as a selfish, egotistical brat, following the character traits of her father. I hope she finds herself on a better path.

SAVE YOUR MONEY
Such a boring read, so glad I got it for free! I didn't like Jamie Lynn before I read her book, and I still don't like her afterwards. Basically stuff we already knew.
