About this listen
A cyberpunk thriller like Ready Player One meets The Silence of the Lambs.
Detective Ada Byron is pumped to be assigned her first murder case–until she sees the crime scene. Someone has been killed exactly the same way as her father was seven years earlier. But, impossibly, he died using VR and the programmer responsible is still in prison. To see if this is a copycat or something more sinister, Ada must confront her father’s killer: the enigmatic Jazlin Switch. What she discovers will change the face of both the real world and the metaverse forever...

Terror in virtual reality !
The author Tim Hawken is asking the one true question: What is reality, if you go into virtual reality and then get out how do you know for sure that you got out, same with dreams when awake are you sure, is anything real ?
In short: what is reality, does it exist, are we some code in a computer program ? That question is endless and will keep eluding us forever.
And the author have created one hell of a great mystery around it all !!!
Molly Secours awesomely have narrated each character of this book perfectly creating a great audiobook !
Absolutely,
recommended !!!

Quintessentially cyberpunk detective novel
This was incredible. It usually takes me a month to get through an audiobook here and there, but I could not put this down. It has all the hallmarks of a great cyberpunk novel, detective noir in a setting where technology has moved faster than morality can keep up. It had me thinking Ready Player One without the Willy Wonka vibes. Even seperate from the setting though, the story itself is incredible, paced to keep readers wondering throughout and paying off spectacularly. Definitely worth the read. Will be watching this author for future releases.

Silence of the rams
I really enjoyed this book, its almost like a cross between silence of the lambs and ready player one but in no way is this not still its own thing and uniquely themed.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys crime and scifi thrillers.

A very enjoyable techno-thriller
Thrill Switch is an SF thriller set in both the physical and digitals worlds. I saw a comparison somewhere calling it Ready Player One meets Silence of the Lambs, and I can get behind that to an extent. The ideas and pacing were very good, and the only thing that could have used some work was the earlier portrayal of the digital world - it just didn't feel as realised as I've read in other works. It picked up towards the end and worked very well, with some great ideas for the setting. Very much hoping there'll be more in this world in the future.

Thrilled Switch
The summary of this book is misleading. It's a tiny bit like Silence of the Lambs in Cyberspace and it has fleeting references to other works but this is worthy of it's own glory.
I loved this book. It was great. Well written and well read. My only gripe is there are not any sequels... hopefully there will be because it has the potential to be the start of a great sci-fi series.

Got me back into Sci-Fi!!
What a way to re-engage me back into Sci-Fi novels. Really enjoyed the whole story. I had previously read a review calling it ‘Ready Player One’ meets ‘Silence of the Lambs’ and that couldn’t be more apt. Minus the cannibalism of course (spoiler alert). Great characters/imagery throughout and the performance from Molly Secours was spot on! Bravo Guys!

switch
Ada Byron is solving murders in virtual reality world, but that are also killing the people in the real world. Teaming up with FBI agent Joon. They find themselves using tips from a former Holos serial killer they follow the leads, You will trying to figure out who the killer is. This book was so fast paced. The ending was unexpected, and a great way to end.
I enjoyed the narration of Molly Secours, perfect for this thriller
