Summary

Want to know more about history and politics? Then you should probably go and listen to a proper audiobook. Fancy a laugh at some smutty jokes? Then go and read Viz. But if you fancy a combination of the two, this is the audiobook for you.

In Off the Record, bitter and twisted leftie news reporter Jonathan Pie picks 10 of the world's worst wankers and tears them apart.

Here you'll find the answers to some difficult questions. Was Blair just a Tory in disguise? Did Cameron really have relations with that pig? Just how did we end up with President Donald Trump?

It's the ultimate guide to political arseholery. With extra swearing.

A fantastically satirical and searingly honest listen

Jonathan Pye has a way with words that make him a pleasure to listen to. He is aggressive in articulating his opinions and I dont agree with many of them them but that made the audiobook all the more interesting to listen to. He’s brilliant at getting his opinions across in a satirical, hilarious way that also gets you to stop and think. Would recommend this to anyone.

When' is vol 2 coming out?

Could've been longer. That's a complaint and a compliment.
Looking forward to the next installment (s)

Bl**dy funny

You will probably not learn very much but you will have fun. Just a really enjoyable book. Lots of swearing as expected. Jonathan Pie at his best. You do not need to agree with all his views to enjoy this book.

A fabulous slice of pie.

Any of you who have seen Jonathan Pie on the internet will know exactly what to expect, as usual Tom Walker delivers Pie with his usual style and flair, you may actually learn so,etching here too inbetween the hilarious rants.

My only complaint is that it simply isn’t long enough. Hopefully a updated version is in the offing with the likes of Boris Johnson and co added.

Ace as ever Pie is.

Lots of laughs at a terrifying world. I especially like the re-education of the pompously smug guardian politically correct gone mad types as I might have been suffering a touch of that myself. Good work.

A filling slice of Pie

Great audiobook that I would recommend to anyone with half a sense of humour, couple times I felt swearing was excessive but it wouldn't be JP if it wasn't, long enough to satisfy and not bore you. Great Job and even better that JP reads it to you.

Thought I was going to hate this...

How wrong can I be. Brilliant, fantastic, enthralling, entertaining, funny, very funny, wry, dry and very very funny.

Not bad.

It’s what you expect

It’s standard Jonathan Pie, very funny but don’t expect it to be anything else other than a range of insults thrown at politicians. It’s supposed to be comedy, but most of the time you find yourself agreeing with him.
