Summary
Random House presents the audiobook edition of Too Close by Natalie Daniels, read by Clara Salaman and Sara Stewart.
For fans of The Girlfriend and The Wife Between Us, Too Close is a twisting tale of friendship and betrayal.
How close is too close?
There’s a moment, when you meet someone new, when the connection is so strong that making a friend can feel like falling in love.
That’s how it was for Connie and Ness. They met in the park while their children played, and as they talked, they realised they were neighbours. Perhaps it was only natural that they and their families would become entirely inseparable.
But when Ness’ marriage ends in a bitter divorce, she is suddenly at Connie’s house all the time. Connie doesn’t have a moment to herself, no time alone with her husband, not a second to chat to her kids. It’s all too much. Something has to give.
Connie has woken up in a psychiatric hospital. They say she committed a terrible crime, but she says she can’t remember a thing.

Fantastic Book...And I’m VERY Picky!
I loved this book. The storyline is harsh and could have been depressing but the book is full of humour and is brilliantly narrated, so at times it’s laugh out loud funny and ultimately uplifting. Definitely worth a credit and Connie is perhaps the best narration I’ve heard. Excellent!

Unusual, powerful story.
This is a novel story (no pun intended). It’s essentially the account of one woman’s mental illness, her experiences and her actions. It’s very well written and quite compelling. As someone who worked in mental health services for decades, I can also say it is accurate. The ending was really satisfying. The narration was excellent.

OUTSTANDING!!!!
This has to be, THE best book I have listened to on Audible to date and I am sure I must have shares in the site due to the amount of books I go through.
I love love love the voice of Connie, her sense of humour and wit is amazing, if she was a real person I'd want to be her friend!!
This book made me laugh (all you Connie) and brought a tear to my eye on many occasions. I cannot wait to read Natalie's next book!
The drive home tonight will not be the same without listening to this story, I loved it when Connie did the voice of her Daughter reading the Diary, had me in absolute stitches.
Hand on heart, I was soooo sad for the book to come to an end today, knowing I will not feel a part of the lives of Connie and Emma : (
