Summary

Would you consider yourself the same after listening to true crime stories?

The horrific and disturbing nature of these stories often makes you question everything you thought or believed about humanity. Yet they are engaging and fascinating at the same time.

We all had evil thoughts throughout our lives. What is it that makes us different from those who actually act upon it? Is it the act alone? These are questions that many ask themselves, and these stories will help dig into the elements and psychology behind some of the most terrifying killers in history.

This collection includes four true crime books, volumes 1-4, and each is filled with a variety of murder cases, from spree killers to massacres to even cannibals. You will explore the background, the act, and the aftermath of their violent acts. Some sections will be painful to listen, due to the detailed description of the violent acts and the emotions behind them.

Get your copy now if you dare to revisit human nature and explore the tales of murderous minds.

Full and well researched

48 real crime stories, and oh boy are they each so well done and written that it is a little bizarre to think of them all. Details that are often forgotten were written down and read out for all to hear and it did truly give an insight into these murderous people. They stories aren't long, but you do get a good overview of them.

A great Collection for true crime fanatics

my guilty pleasure is reading true crime novels and it is always interesting to me to find books about cases I havent heard about . The collection intrigued me from the start and each story gave me a great insight into the minds of these vile and disturbed killers. I could tell that each story had been well researched and I highly recommend. This book was given by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review

Concise

It's a concise book about various different murders and attacks. I know that there are larger books about these kinds of things but I still think it is interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn't want too much depth yet wants the explanation of the murder/murders.

Writer wants you to feel sorry for people who kill

I liked the overall format of the stories. The part I did not enjoy was the author's consistent agenda of attempting to get you to feel sorry for people who commit murders. I only listened to about half of the books before I was disgusted by this authors insistence through his writings to get you to believe that everyone is capable of this disgusting acts, due to circumstances surrounding these murdering folks. Everyone goes through traumatic times in ones life. Not everyone goes out and kills people.

Short and Sweet

This collection of short stories is a refreshing break from from other true crime podcast that can take months to finish. I can listen to an episode on the way to work without leaving with an unfinished thought. Highly recommend!

People are crazy

This box set was an interesting look into many murders. It was very informative and factual. There were interesting details that are often left out and all in one place. Scary how many of these people had similar backgrounds and people around them overlooked many signs that could have saved lives.
Overall the collection was well put together and informative. Do not expect drama, suspense or story. This is just cold hard case facts

I received this set free for an unbiased and honest review.

great stories terrible narration

It was a huge struggle actually getting through the entire book. The narration was so hard to listen to. It was a mix between Middle School remedial reading class, or just think doctor Spock bred with a millennial. The stories were awesome though and that kept me going through the tape. But several times I really thought about downloading something else to listen to because the guy was so annoying.
