Summary

Not your average zombie apocalypse.

Undead Assimilation continues the story of a short-fused detective and a mysterious vampire. This genre-bending tale grabs you from the first and drags you along through a strange, violent, and hilarious post-apocalyptic landscape. Super zombies, deadly werewolves, and mad scientists all make an appearance, stacking up the odds against the intrepid heroes, Kurt Weller and Diirek.

Weller, a big-city homicide detective, finds himself up against superhuman entities and unspeakable evil. He must overcome his anger and hopelessness to save the ones he loves most. The ancient vampire Diirek wanders the landscape outside the city, trying to right past wrongs and protect those most vulnerable from the normal and paranormal maniacs roaming the countryside. In an effort to uncover the truth and prevent the slaughter of humanity, both Diirek and Weller find that their seemingly separate paths lead to the same deadly place. With the help of the few remaining vampires, they must fight to save the world...or die trying.

Part vampire horror, part action thriller, and part zombie apocalypse, the Undead Trilogy blends human stories with fantastic monsters to deliver an addictive saga like never before.

undead

Amazing narration from Matthew Crow, who brings out the action, pace and humour.

Weller's quick with his witty replies, made me laugh. He needs his humour as his life now includes l zombies, bent police officers, vampires and a ex wife .

A great listen.
