He is busy making plans to renew his attentions to her when other impediments arise that threaten to undermine his hopes of happiness. Will problems with house and household crumble the tender foundation between them before they can build a life together?
Unfounded is a second chance romance at Pemberley and is a novel-length Pride and Prejudice variation.

Dot and Starch.
What can I say other than I loved it? For some strange reason that I cannot fathom now, I was not particularly excited to read this book, but gave it a chance because both the author and the narrator are two whose works I have admired in the past.
I was not two chapter into the story before I was completely hooked. It will forever now be on my favorite list of variations.
The depth that was put into the characters backgrounds and emotions were some of the best I have experienced in a long time.
The twist in the story with the foundation of Pemberley being at risk and therefore the greater amount of anxiety being placed on our beloved couple on top of everything else, gave so much more to the listener.
I was completely captivated by this amazing story and highly recommend it to any and all my fellow JAFF fans.
As always, Elizabeth Grace does a wonderful job of narrating and giving the different characters a certain amount of personality just with the charming voices she creates for each of them.

Rescued by the plot
A postmaster giving letters to a private person to deliver, a butler telling off a dinner guest for being in a room that was supposedly off limits are just some oddities on which the surprisingly good plot depends.
The narrator's accents slipped and there were various odd pronunciations. The tone of her voice is also a bit whiney.
