Omarosa Manigault Newman
About this listen
Few have been a member of Donald Trump’s inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. Their relationship has spanned fifteen years—through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history. But that relationship has come to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa is finally ready to share her side of the story in this explosive, jaw-dropping account.
A stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number, Unhinged is a must-read for any concerned citizen.©2018 Omarosa Manigault (P)2018 Simon & Schuster UK

Interesting but becomes grating.
I enjoyed the story and hearing the inside of the White House stories but Omarosa's views come across as 'he said, she said'. There's no doubt Donald Trump is a lair and a loose canon, but listening to Omarosa gets tiresome as she can be condescending.
I'm certainly not a Trump fan, so listen to it but take the views expressed with a pinch of salt (and be aware of the high and mighty opinions).

Interesting but includes a Full Resume
It was certainly difficult to ignore the resume being promoted throughout the book, but an interesting listen none the less.

Great Audible book...
Well written and narrated by the author. Glad Omarosa is on the side of good now. Trump and Pence must be removed from office. Clearly this book is a first hand account of Trump's steep mental decline since gaining office.

Good to get an insiders perspective on the White House
Omarosa does a great job with the story and provides some interesting nuggets. The listener can’t help but empathise with her experiences. The voiceover is particularly entertaining with the Trump mimic!

Traitor...
I'm giving this book a 4 because I really enjoyed all the details about Donald. However, I don't appreciate Omarosa playing dumb to justify her support of a devisive racist president.
She claims she didn't know Trump's sexual harassment was wrong until she reflected on it and that she didn't know that Donald was racist until she heard the audiotapes even though it was blatent to the rest of the world, none of us needed to hear audiotapes...
It's embarrassing when she used to justify Donald's racism by saying he's racial not racist, she reminds me of Stephen in the movie Django unchained. Omarosa, you let women down and you let people of colour down. Such a shame that an intelligent woman like you lacks so much insight.
Omarosa was aware that Donald was narcissistic and currupt but she chose to ignore it because it served her...she used him like he used her! She is just as selfish as Trump. Trump no longer benefits her so she's trying to get her reputation back and make up excuses to be on the right side of history.

A fair holiday read
interesting but not compelling. not sure I always believed her motivations. came across sometimes as covering uncomfortable tracks to rewrite her history with Trump now that she is distancing herself from him.

An interesting read
Not knowing who Omarosa is particularly I wondered if her villain status was deserved. after reading I think she demonstrates credibility in her reporting of the WH organisation. She also reads it well... good pace and lively enough.
worth a listen for an insight but some of those self-worthy-in-the-face-of-all-others passages do reduce credibility a bit.

Unhinged seems to describe Omarosa or Trump
Not a Trump fan but this book is just ridiculous and Omarosa seems to be very, VERY self absorbed. In addition she just seems to go off on little rants and spends a lot of time blowing her own trumpet (pardon the pun!) and because of that she doesn’t do her valid points justice. For example I’m not sure there’s any need for her autobiography to be telling us what designer dress she wore to an emmys over a decade ago (pink fuschia, blah blah blah in case you cared)
Her speaking is clear however her occasional Trump impressions are just stupid, awful and are simply unnecessary.
Her performance is also belittled by her seemingly trying to add emotion to certain areas but it just comes across as though someone is reading to a child and is pretty poor. When she isn’t doing that though her reading is good.
Personally I would recommend avoiding this book...if you’re looking for a decent Trump-linked book check out Comeys “a higher loyalty” which is MUCH better.
