Loved it !
I truly enjoyed this audiobook and learned a lot. I have seen such a huge shift since COVID-19 on how students learn: The pandemic had such a huge impact on student and their mental health, but also how they learn. Online learning was quite restrictive and did not allow students to fully have a 'normal' school experience. This audiobook does a great job at giving recommendation and advice to parents on how to help their kid(s) to overcome learning-loss they might have had during the pandemic. alongside the academic aspect of this audiobook, I loved how the author, mentioned the importance of mental health for students and teenagers. I would highly recommend this audiobook to any parents who had a kid or kids having to do school remotely.

A change in mindset
I just finished listening to "Unlocking Your Child's Brain." This super cool book addresses the post-pandemic situation we are currently in. The book offers more than just the strategies for the learning gaps. It shares the idea of emotions and how they can be turned around and used for strength. I am interested in the section about teaching your teens to harness their emotions. Once they do this they can focus better and improve their memorization skills. This book has some very interesting ideas I will use with my children. The author has done a great job on this topic, and I highly recommend this book.
