She remembered who she was and the game changed
The opening statement done it for me.
I've been going through a change and this audible book couldn't have come at a better time.
I resonated deeply with Lalah's story because I saw myself in them. The narrator was fantastic in adding tone and inflections. I listened attentively and actioned many things.
The reflection prompts are on point. It encouraged so much out of my being. I was writing pages and pages of my HERSTORY from a couple of the prompts. I was able to feel out my vibrational boundaries. I was able to feel who are the 'wrong people' and who are the 'right people.'
I'm no longer content with relationships. I'm seeking nurturships everyday.
Fantastic book. This is my daily tune up. I put it on when I'm in my kitchen lab making my green juices. It's all about vibrating higher daily.
I remembered who I was and the game changed.

Loved every minute!
Great writing throughout and the narrator is clearly a professional and brought Lalah's words to life. Loved the fourth chapter but there are gems on every page

Such a sweet guidance
Bonnie’s voice goes so well with the sentiment of this book. It has and will continue to gently guide me through my awakening and I know I can and will return to it for comfort when times get tough.

perfect timing
I just love this 🌹 It came at the right time when everything seems to be going wrong and it filled me with hope and a way forward ❤️ I first heard Lalah Delia on insight timer an absolutely fantastic app for wellbeing.

Very basic
good grief this was a real struggle to get through. Firstly, I think this would be a great listen for a young person just starting their spiritual journey. It is positive, packed full of insta meme type quotes, and has the wonderful intention of empowerment.
For me personally, I don't know if it is the narrator or the content, but it always just felt like I was just getting a pep talk from an auntie after a bad breakup. "take back your power" "empower yourself" "vibrate higher" "self care" "frequency" are words and terms that get used in every sentence. It never felt like it got beneath the surface. A lot of talk on vibrating higher with no real depth on how to achieve all of this other than to "declutter and detox" from "bad vibes".
No real mention of meditation or prayer, but talk of lighting candles and incence. It's fluffy and all positive but always felt like one sentence away from a "listen girlfriend!"
Perfect for some, and I'm certain this has its audience. Just not for me.
