Summary

VISIONS OF FLESH AND BLOOD: a Blood and Ash/Flesh and Fire Compendium is a comprehensive companion guide for background, history, reader-favorite information, and reference materials. Combined with original short stories and scenes from some of the world’s most beloved characters, it’s a treat for the senses.

Told from the point of view of Miss Willa herself, the compendium acts like research material but reads like a journal and cache of personal notes, allowing the reader to revisit the characters and history they so love yet view things in a different way.

VISIONS OF FLESH AND BLOOD by Jennifer L. Armentrout with Rayvn Salvador is a must-add addition to the series that any Blood and Ash/Flesh and Fire fan will enjoy.

Repetitive

Don't get the thought behind this book at all. A really long retell of every character and event written in an "encyclopedia-manner". Felt like listening to a very repetitive dictionary read out load. Couldn't finish.

Summarise of the all books

For the ones who don’t want to re read the all saga before the new release , yes I totally recommend it .

Not really, what any of us wanted out this book?

The biggest problem I have with this book is it doesn’t progress the story in any meaningful way. The whole book is a recap of what has happened in the previous five entries. Which makes it quite boring to listen to.

Boring disappointing - wasted book

Repetitive is an understatement with very little learnt or new. Best avoided to maintain enjoyment of the series.

Repetitive and disappointing

I did not find this anything but a little boring. might be a useful refresher if you had not recently read the series but not what I had hoped.

what stood most out? THAT THIS SUCK'S..

i was looking forward to hearing the continuation of the story, the continuation of the series!
but no.. i spent money to hear one giant summary of all the books, all the characters, all the words and what they meant.
I always thought that it was just a summary so that we could understand the book better, for those who might have waited a long time for this book and not like me who have bought and listened to all of them now, right after each other. so they wouldn't forget anything if a long time had passed.

this is the biggest blow I've received in a long time... we have almost no such books in Norway, so have had to buy EVERYTHING here. you guys shouldn't have this book as part of the series! it is very misleading. it should have been an "extra material book" or somthing.
not that it is the last in the series.

and what was the author thinking?!!
"I can't bear to write a new book..so I just make one big summary, and hope no one notices that I haven't written anything new"

so sorely disappointed... and hope there will be an actual sequel, so the whole series isn't ruined.
because the rest was actually very good!

Terrible

Don’t understand this book at all. Doesn’t add anything other than an “encyclopaedia” approach to all the events and characters so far. Couldn’t finish

Waste of time

This book is a total recap of all the other books and story is keep repeating itself from the different views of the many characters. As I have read all the other books. it didn't make any sense to me.
