Summary

Night Lords Volume 3

Hunted by the aeldari, the Night Lords flee to the world where their Legion was broken. Stalked by an alien assassin, they are drawn into a battle they are destined to lose.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE:

Fan favourite characters - who also happen to be amongst the most monstrous killers in the galaxy - in a fight to the death against the aeldari, with the fate of the future on the line? Yes please.

The Story:

The hunters have become the hunted. The Night Lords flee to the dark fringes of the Imperium to escape their relentless pursuers - the aeldari of Craftworld Ulthwé. Their flight takes them to the carrion world of Tsagualsa, where their primarch died and their Legion was broken. There, history will repeat itself as a deadly assassin stalks the shadows, and the Night Lords are drawn into a battle they are destined to lose.

ADB does it again

I'm a huge Night Lords fan, gotta say that first. But wow, Aaron Dembski-Bowden really catches the feel of the night lords. And even though they're pretty evil, he makes them very loveable.
After listening to all three books, I'm now left with an empty feeling in my body because it was so good!

Strong Finish

This series is just fantastic. I don't hear it mentioned alongside big hitters like Eisenhorn, Gaunt's Ghosts or Helsreach, but I enjoyed it more than any of them so far. Just incredible.

Worst book in the trilogy ….

This is the worst book of the series ……….as it signifies the end of the series!!

From start to finish I’ve never been more engrossed in a book, Aaron Dembski-Bowdens ability to develop characters is superb! I am totally in awe and now I’m going to relive my child hood by building a night lord army with 1st claw and malcharion !! My only hope now is that this is one of the series brought to life by Henry Cavill so I can relive it in all its glory!!

In Midnight Clad

What a fantastic story from book one to three with an extremely satisfying payoff at the end that leaves you ravenous for more.
I really hope ADB gives us a brand new trilogy in the future and also comes back with some short stories to tide us over.
This book and this series is definitely a must read/listen.

Third book featuring Talos and first claw.

Fate is a fickle thing.
Some destinies are ironclad.
Some can be changed.
If you are here after reading the former two books you know of what I speak and will not be disappointed with the performance of this third installment. I enjoyed this immensely.

great conclusion to the night lords trilogy

if you have listened to the two previous books in the series, you already know how good the writing and voice acting is. the story does not let up, it remains at the constant high quality it maintained in the previous two books. If you loved the first book, listen to this, even if book two left you sightly lukewarm, its an excellent conclusion to first claw's story
