Summary

Wonders terrestrial and aquatic, ancient ruins, near drownings, and more kinds of dragons than you can shake a wing at....

Six years after her perilous exploits in Eriga, Lady Trent embarks on her most ambitious expedition yet: a two-year trip around the world aboard the Royal Survey Ship Basilisk, to study all manner of dragons. She must cope with storms, shipwrecks, intrigue and warfare to uncover new insights in the ancient history of dragons.

The pinnacle of speculative fiction

Ever single book in this series is flawlessly written, and it's so hard to stop listening. Anyone who is interested in natural history, feminism, and of course, dragons, will not be disappointed. I hope the 5th book in the series will be on available to buy as an audio book soon!

Good, but not as good as the first two

Enjoyable entry in the Ladt Trent series, but much slower than the first two.
