Great book, terrible narration.
I'll have to buy the physical book as it's fascinating. I really struggled to keep listening to this audio book as the narration is terrible.

A very good explanation considering this is such a complicated subject. Don't let the equations put you off if you are not into numbers as it is quite to listen to.

brilliant
Fantastic book for people with a love for astronomy and astrophysics. So indepth I had to restart it straight away after I finished. Its the the kind of book you really need to pause and just think about what you just read or in this case heard. I'm going to need to listen to it several times over to understand some of the math involved but I will do it happily, this book is that good.

It’s a really great and insightful book
A good intro into how the Universe works. However, I think this book is better suited for reading: too many formulas to listen too. Nevertheless it gave me a great taster and I’ll definitely purchase a hard copy to study the details.

Precise, engaging and educational!
Really good if you want something with great narrative and effective mathematical guidelines to understand the concepts the authors explain!
Sometimes the scientific language can make the storyline a bit slow, but overall a pretty engaging story that takes your mind on an excursion through the depths of the universe!
Definitely worth every penny!

Great book, but found it difficult to comprehend
I think this book is a great book for anybody that has a fascination with the universe and has the relevant education in mathematics and science. It was said that the material was aimed at lectures of Princeton University at students that haven't studied such material and is accessible to anyone. I have to say, I found the subject matter to be very challenging and couldn't understand the mathematical equations. I struggled to understand a lot of the topics especially the last 5/6 chapters and some of the material just went way over my head.
However, there was some of the subject matter that I did understand, so it was still worth a listen. Perhaps it would be easier to grasp the concepts if I were to read the book instead of listen to it on audible.
Still a great book for those people that are smart enough to understand the mathematical equations and the subject matter.

Good for reading, baad for listening
It's a very good book, but definitely not one to be listened to. It challenges your focus and your mind and I lost a lot of information because I wasn't able to read it over and over until I understand. Of course, nothing stops me from rewinding, but after 2-3 attempts, it becomes dull.
