An insightful book from a thoughtful person
Dr Marshall-Andrews is so observant and writes so honestly, her book gives real insight into what it's like to be a GP who cares deeply about her patients and her community.
As a GP trainee - I found her whole ethos really inspiring. At a time when GPs are leaving the profession in droves and trainees are leaving training, this book is a reminder of what a privilege it can be to work in this job, and how much of an impact a great GP can have on people's lives.
It also had me laughing out loud in the tube...
