Love this series
This is a wonderful addition to the Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries Series. Holly's application to get her potions license dose not go smoothly and she is sucked into another mystery. Great listen, excellent narration.

Home is a good book
I am loving this series and this book is no different. The author shakes things up in this book and there is going to be some changes in store for the series and I for one can't wait. In fact I have already downloaded the next book. This book continues from where the last book left with Holly heading of to Haven to try and get her potions licence back and while it is not necessary to read the books in order, I think you are missing out on a great if you don't. I love the characters, although the magic side of Holly's life is beginning to take over and she is not working in the coffee shop as much. This means her human friend isn't in it so much but her supernatural friends more than fill the gap. The mystery was a surprise, one I didn't see coming, as was the ending. So I am off now to start the next book because I can't wait to see what happens next.
Holly heads to Haven to face the supernatural counsel in an attempt to get her banishment lifted and her potions licence reinstated. But things don't go to plan. Her star witness leaves before testifying on her behalf and later turns up dead. Facing a new parole officer is the least of her worries when nobody is arrested for the murder. Can Holly find her friends killer? Especially when one of the witches on the counsel seems to have it out for Holly?
I like the narrator. Who weaves her own magic to bring the characters to life.
