Summary
Once he was a valued key operative in Canada’s special forces.... Now the man known only as Logan has fallen on hard times. great story and description.
I liked it but needed to have more voice actors, not just the one guy. spoilt it a bit.

Good story but painfully slow
There is a great deal of unnecessary fluff in this audio book, some chapters flipped flopped back and forth between moments of actually story context which took me out of book at times.
I think you could easily cut about 40% of this audiobook and it will still not change the dynamic of the actual story.
A fair portion of the book is long, slow and boring but it’s moments of good story it delivers there I just wish this book truly focused more on Logan rather than other characters as I felt it did too much in this book.
Pacing in this book is a nightmare at times.

So much promise let down by an overstuffed story that's too long
Great performance by the reader, and with some wonderfully pulpy prose, but an overstuffed story with too many characters. Countering the main Weapon X storyline with flashbacks to an old mission of Logan's is a fine idea, but unfortunately none of the characters or the story within the flashbacks are particularly interesting. The heavy tone of the source material weighs the story down like adamantium.
I came to what felt like the conclusion of the story and found myself wondering how there could possibly be another two hours left. I'd love to read a more streamlined version of this book. I really wanted to like it but by the end of it I was really waiting for it to be over.
