Summary
Though the young Warchief Thrall ended the demon curse that had plagued his people for generations, the orcs still wrestle with the sins of their bloody past. As the rampaging Horde, they waged a number of devastating wars against their perennial enemy - the Alliance. The Beginning of the Orcs
A really Good and captivating WoW story!
If you haven't listen, played or read anything that does have with the Warcraft world, then you should listen to this. Geat story about the orcs and how the destiny of the orks began. Christie Golden also does a great work telling it.

Where it all began..
Good story, great characters. seeing how the Draenei got to Draenor.. and the. how the Orcs turned on the Draenei and then went onto to create the portal to Azeroth.
Well worth a listen for any WoW player that likes the lore!

Excellent
I have always been alliance on the game and thought the horde had always been 'evil' but now I see what happened I have actually made a horse character as I am intrigued with their story. Thank you for this great listen.

excellent story albeit slightly lore breaking, christies performance and the way she portrayed her novel was spot on can't wait to get book 5 now and continue this saga, audible please get the others 😁

Surprisingly Good
Wanted to listen to more of the more of World of Warcraft and this book is a good starting point! Different to the movie a bit and with more detail. Going to pick up the 2nd one now!
Was a bit sceptical at first with a female narrator only due to the orcs having deep gruff voices but Christie Golden does a great job. Bonus points as she's also the author!

Christie did a great job with the voices
Christie, even with her soft voice, did a great job portraying the various Orcs. I enjoyed this story immensely.
