About this listen
A woman is missing. The clock is ticking. There's no time to lose when a life hangs in the balance.
Miguel:
They found our missing woman’s car.
In the army, I found hidden bombs before they could, well, you know.
I’m good at finding what I look for.
After I got out, I traded my green uniform for a blue one.
Now, I mostly find clues and people.
I’m not used to finding things when I don’t look for them.
Then, I met Sam.
What was I looking for again?
Sam:
I grew up on a ranch. It was easy to win over furry friends as long as I had food in my hand.
When I moved to Nashville, I learned that men are a totally different animal.
I’ve only just started wanting more than an endless stream of one-nighters, but the time I put myself out there, I ended up in the friend zone.
I’m good in the sack, up against a wall, or on the kitchen table,
But dating is exhausting.
When a cop in a tight blue uniform drove onto my lot, everything changed.
Wrenched is a classic MM Romance wrapped in a whodunit thriller, a tale of self-discovery, overcoming the past, and two men learning what—and who—they truly want.
This story includes scenes where one character grapples with PTSD, while another discovers how best to support him.

Sam & Miguel
We met Sam when he hooked up with Joe in book 1 this book goes into a bit more of how things ended with Joe . When police bring a car into Sam’s garage he meets Miguel and can’t take his eyes off him and it seems Miguel is having the same thoughts about Sam. I really enjoyed this book and the interactions between Sam & Miguel had me laughing at times and Ty omg he’s so so funny please tell me he has a book .

Really, really good!
This the second in the series, absolutely a standalone, but after listening to book 1 (highly recommend, by the way), it was nice to hear Sam's perspective of the thing he had with Joe (in book 1)
The while layout of the chapters gave it a police procedural vibe, which was gun for bother the police case and the romance. Loved the MCs, their well-paced romance, Both Miguel's and Sam have past stuff that they were dealing with, but they worked together and didn't let those things derail their HEA. The supporting cast were just as significant as the MCs, funny, vibrant. I hope we see Tyler get a romance.
Dan Levy does a great job with the character voices, you know who is who, how they feel and the background voices for things like the ball game announcer, tv reporter, etc were very well done.
Highly recommend!!
