The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Glen Dimplex Americas are recalling Cadet-branded Apex72 Electric Heaters. Their fans fail to activate allowing the units to overheat triggering burns and fires.

About 12,900 of these heaters were sold at Platt, Crescent Electric, CED and other electrical distributors nationwide.

Stop using these heaters. Contact Glen Dimplex Americas at 1-866-673-9880 or via email at apex@glendimplexamericas.zendesk.com for information about free heater replacement and installation.
